Built Strong. Built for Fun. Built to Last.

At Therapy Industries, we believe a great board starts with solid foundations — and a few decades of hard-earned know-how doesn’t hurt either.

Right now, we’re using a proven construction method that’s been tested over years of real-world riding for strength, durability, and serious good times. This is the construction you can trust to take a few knocks, keep its shape, and stay with you session after session.

But we’re not the type to sit still for too long.

We’re currently refining a new premium vacuum bag construction — designed for lighter, faster boards without sacrificing strength. It’s still in the testing phase, but it’s already showing some seriously exciting results. Once it’s 100% Therapy-approved, it’ll be available for riders chasing that next-level performance.

Because at the end of the day, it’s simple:

If we wouldn’t ride it ourselves, we wouldn’t build it.

Proven Construction

Over the last 12 years, we’ve fine-tuned a hand layup construction that hits the sweet spot between strength, durability, and ride feel. It’s a method born from our surfboard roots, using premium Australian-made epoxy resin and top-quality fibreglass — materials we trust because we’ve seen what they can handle.

On the deck, we layer up multiple sheets of E-glass to deliver the best compressional strength-to-weight ratio you can get from a hand-laid board. Underneath, we reinforce the bottom with a carbon/E-glass hybrid double bias, backed by additional E-glass, to seriously boost crease resistance and overall strength.

We also run tints directly through the resin, not just slapped on with paint — giving the board a clean, durable finish that resists paddle chips along the rails and keeps your board looking fresh, session after session.

Lightweight, Dialled-In, and Vacuum Sealed

We’ve been working behind the scenes on something special — a new vacuum bagged construction that’s all about next-level performance without blowing out the budget. Using a combination of carbon fibre and high-density PVC foam, shaped with precision on our CNC machines, we’re developing a custom construction that’s light, strong, and built to perform under Aussie conditions.

The goal? A board that feels electric underfoot, holds its shape, and brings high-end build quality within reach for more riders. It’s still in testing, but it’s getting close. Keep your eyes peeled — this next chapter in Therapy construction is coming soon.

Custom Ideas??

At Therapy, we’re always up for something different. If you’ve got a custom construction in mind — a tweak, a new combo of materials, or something totally outside the box — we’re all ears. We love working with riders who think creatively about their boards. And while we’re open to anything, we’ll always offer our honest, experienced take to make sure your build performs as good as it looks. Let’s chat and create something uniquely yours.
